After the signing

What families say once the papers are signed

“I knew the fee before I drove to Mesa, and the bill matched it. My husband and I signed our wills and our powers of attorney in one visit.”

Louise T.Will package

“My brother in Yuma and I met with Cecilia by video. She explained everything to our mother in Spanish first, then went through the paperwork in English.”

Humberto V.Powers of attorney

“The trust cost what the first call said it would. The deed was recorded, and a binder arrived with every account listed.”

Sylvia M.Living trust package

Each client's situation and fees are different. These sample comments are placeholders for the owner to replace with real ones, and they don't promise any result.

Before the first call

Questions families ask us first

What does a flat fee cover?

Every document and meeting listed in the package, however long the work takes. Court fees, county recording fees and certified copies are paid at cost, and we list them on your fee agreement before you sign it.

Do I need a trust, or is a will enough?

For many families a will and powers of attorney are enough. A trust helps most when you own a home or want a relative to manage things without going to court. We tell you which fits before you pay for either.

Can we meet by video?

Yes. Clients across Arizona meet with us by video, receive drafts by email and sign originals with a notary and witnesses we arrange for them.

Do you work in Spanish?

Cecilia Escalante meets with clients in Spanish and reviews every Spanish-language document herself. Conrad Wadsworth and Hilary Rathbone work in English.

My parent can’t manage their affairs any more. Where do we start?

Call us. If your parent can still understand what the papers do, a power of attorney may be enough. If not, a court decides who acts, and we will explain that path and refer you to a guardianship lawyer.

Tell us who the plan is for

A few lines are enough. Cecilia or Conrad will reply within one business day with a flat fee in writing.
