Wills

A will that says who, what and when

A will is the plainest plan there is: who receives your things, who looks after your children, and who sees that it all happens.

We write it in plain English, explain each clause, and hold a signing meeting with two witnesses and a notary so the will stands up when it is needed. If your situation turns out to need a trust, we say so before you pay anything more.

The will package includes

  • Your will, written for you alone

  • A financial power of attorney

  • A health care power of attorney and living will

  • A guardian named for any minor children

  • The signing meeting, with witnesses and a notary

  • Copies of everything, in print and by email

How a will gets written here

Three steps, and the fee is in writing before the first one.

  1. 01

    A planning call

We learn who your family is, what you own and what worries you. You leave the call with the flat fee in writing.

  2. 02

    A draft in plain words

You read it at home. We answer questions by phone, email or video until it says what you mean.

  3. 03

    The signing meeting

Two witnesses and a notary join us. You sign, we explain where to keep it, and you take your copies home.

Before you sign a will

Does a will avoid probate?

No. A will is carried out through the probate court. Small estates and estates held in a trust may skip some or all of that, and we tell you which applies to you.

Can I change my will later?

Yes. A new will or a short amendment replaces the old one, and we quote changes at a flat fee too.

I already have a will from a form. Is it still good?

Bring it. We read it against your family as it is today and tell you plainly whether it still works. A short review is billed at a flat fee.

Ready to write yours?

Tell us who the will is for. We will reply with the flat fee in writing.
